Hey, there! Welcome to Bottoms Up Events blog!

This will serve as an event/party information board and reviewer. We will be advertising upcoming events as well as reviewing how the events themselves turned out. We’ll be detailing things like who organized the event, where it was held, when it was held, if it was themed or not, if there were any sponsors, the general sense of the event considering the DJ, taste of music, approximated numbers of people in attendance, price of the tickets, price, quality, and range of the food and/or drinks available, and other things such as ease of finding parking space. We will also be including a photo corner where pictures captured from the event by us or some of our friends will be uploaded.

Feel free to look around and enjoy this blog. Come back often, too! And don’t forget to tell your friends about it!

Power Hour Academy: A Bottoms Up Review

Power Hour Productions held another successful party, Power Hour Academy, last June 18 in Club Phi, Metrowalk. The event was made for profit. Tickets were sold at P200. Power Hour Academy was school-themed, just in time with the opening of classes. It drew in a considerable crowd that one of the organizers even happily said that more people came than they expected. Because of the turnout of the two previous Power Hour events, people already knew they could expect the best party experience as Power Hour Productions is all about ensuring pure partying. Not everything went according to plan, however, the venue’s air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the sheer number of people in the room.

Other than that, everything else went well. The crowd was composed of gorgeous ladies and fine men from different universities. The drinks offered that night were a little limited, they had mixed ones as well as beer, which was free to the guests. The music was spun by various DJ’s, namely, Kix Suarez, Leo Camacho, Dre Suarez, Miguel Mapa, and Samboy. They played the best of 80’s and 90’s pop, house, and Hiphop. Overall, the event was a success and a lot of people are waiting in anticipation for the next Power Hour event.
Here’s to hoping they organize even more parties instead of just every six months.
